forms of regulation: 

  • parental controls

Ofcom:

  • they regulate the postal service
  • they regulate certain aspects of the internet including wifi
  • another way that of com works is that you. can complain to OFCOM
  • they regulate telecommunications., broadband phones and tellecomunivcations, against scams
  • they provide information about avoiding scams

these rules are highly subjective and guidance is vague 

digital technology has left it effectively impossible to regulate television

les revenants suicide scene is the most distressing offensive scene to witness, however it silent and taken from a long shot, not explicitly graphic and violent. 

there are references to euthanasia broadly suicide within black mirror which can be harmful and offensive to viewers

sex scenes within both scenes weren't overly explicit and were both consensual

the ineffectiveness and thanks to digital convergent tech allows companies to sidestep regulstions
